what a fabulous shoot we had with the super fun carly! we did all different kinds of looks, and have far too many favorites to choose from. but, while i'm working away at editing some weddings, i'm posting this teaser of her session because i just can't wait for you to see it!

new? old?

you may have noticed that I've been formatting our image blog posts a little differently- what do you think? do you prefer the NEW way (with a collage of images) or the old style (with bigger pictures but longer post overall)? I've been working on getting everything posted so we'll be all caught up and current, but I wanted to know your opinion first, oh internet. :-)

michael + melissa: married!

These two are too sweet for words- almost literally. There was a theme of words so powerfully strew through their wedding day, that the emotion was overwhelming and I couldn't help but notice. Melissa & Michael were married at the State Capital in Madison, Wisconsin on the happiest gloomy Spring day. From the small-yet-powerful word "once" tattooed on each of them signifying their commitment to each other forever, to the most heartfelt and moving vows I've ever witnessed (I totally cried!), this pair has written themselves into a special place into our hearts. Even their first dance had a voice-over candid interview with the two of them giggling, and talking about how each of them was utterly perfect for the other. Mel & Mike, we were absolutely honored to be able to capture your wedding day in images; hopefully, our images will speak a thousand words to help you relive your wedding day over and over for years to come.
