Santa is in town!

for those of you who know my dad, you'll recognize this jolly old St. Nick. for those that don't, well, this guy in red is "Santa"! :-) Chris and I, along with Santa & Mrs. Claus, have been doing Santa "events" at various places for the past few years... and Chris and I take pictures, add a cute Christmas border, and print on the spot. Kids and grown-ups alike seem to really enjoy it. We've been collecting donations to help support Tribal kids in the Mountains of Thailand- we'll only do the event for pure charity- and have raised nearly $800 this year. We're blessed to be able to give our talents and resources to assist in helping these kids... $800 will feed 60 children for a YEAR. Hard to believe, but it makes us look at what we have and feel like there is always more we should be doing to give. Next week, we'll be doing our little event at the local Mobile Home Park, for kids that may not receive much more than a picture with Santa and a little gift from him this Christmas. Thank you to those that have contributed and are helping little lives; God will bless you abundantly in return. Here are a few pictures of the Jolly Man in red!

This one's from the local newspaper (thank-you to First National Bank of Northfield for hosting Santa this year & supporting the kids):
